Dr. Fangming Li

Dr. Fangming Li, DMD, MS is a board-certified orthodontist in the greater Sacramento area.

Dr. Li earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania and was ranked as number one in his class. Dr. Li also graduated with Honors in Community Service. While at University he received numerous national awards from the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, the American Academy of Dental Materials, and the American Association of Oral Biologists.

After dental school, Dr. Li completed his Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, perennially ranked as one of the best orthodontic programs in the nation. He graduated top of his class and also earned a master’s degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Li published his research on clear orthodontic aligners in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and it was selected as the cover article of the month. He was awarded by the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation for his research. Dr. Li is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Li strives to create beautiful, healthy, and confident smiles. He also focuses on providing customized treatment plans. Dr. Li takes pride in delivering patient-centered care with empathy and humility. He believes in communicating and listening to his patients, and treating them like his own family. Dr. Li is passionate about working with children, because he believes nothing is more rewarding than giving children beautiful smiles and bringing them the confidence they deserve.
